About Go NAPSACC

SPARK Learning Lab is proud to partner with the Indiana Department of Health to bring you Go NAPSACC, an online tool that helps childcare programs nationwide support children’s healthy eating and physical activity habits. Through its proven 5-step process, you will set and reach goals that enhance your program. Participating programs will receive unlimited access to Go NAPSACC’s online planning tools and high-quality educational materials, as well as support from a local Go NAPSACC Consultant.

Go NAPSACC works with childcare providers to improve the health of young children through practices, policies, and environments that promote lifelong health and well-being. They offer modules on key topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, and oral health.

Join a Learning Collaborative

SPARK Learning Lab is excited to offer collaborative learning opportunities for ECE program leaders to learn about healthy habits in early childhood education settings. Participants will share experiences and implement new strategies in their programs. The Go NAPSACC Better Together Collaboratives will focus on learning modules featured in the Go NAPSACC online tool.

The Learning Collaborative will demonstrate how healthy eating and physical activity contribute to all domains of children’s development. It includes Learning Sessions with discussions and activities that enhance learning, followed by Action Periods where program leaders use the Go NAPSACC online tool to assess current program activities, educate fellow staff, and lead a process of change to increase healthy habits.

Infant and Child Physical Activity Collaborative

SPARK Learning Lab is excited to announce a new Go NAPSACC Collaborative, focusing on fostering healthy habits in early childhood education settings. The Infant and Child Physical Activity Collaborative will inspire program leaders, directors and owners to transform their programs into healthier environments.

The upcoming Go NAPSACC Collaborative includes:

  • Learning Sessions: Engaging discussions and activities centered around the Go NAPSACC online tool’s learning module.
  • Action Periods: Practical application of strategies using the Go NAPSACC tool to assess current practices, educate staff, and implement changes to promote healthy habits. (Plus, take advantage of the free, virtual one-on-one technical assistance from a SPARK Coach!)

The next collaborative, starting the week of July 1st, will focus on Infant and Child Physical Activity. Benefits include:

  • Earning 7 training clock hours
  • Each program will receive a Lakeshore materials kit upon completion

Space is limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your program and improve the well-being of the children in your care! Have staff members interested in this Go NAPSACC Collaborative? Staff members can participate alongside their leaders too.
