The adverse effects of the stigma associated with mental health can increase risk factors and create barriers for individuals to connect with others, ask for help and seek professional care. Acknowledging the impact of the stigma will help you as a leader to create a more conscious, inclusive, and supportive environment in your program. Enhance your mental health literacy by learning best practices to reduce mental health stigma and promote mental health awareness that will benefit and support your team and families.

The Growing Brain: The Basics- Factors affecting brain growth and development (Part 1)

Identify factors that affect brain growth and development, understand the effect of stress on brain development, and learn about the 5 R's for supporting healthy brain development.
This 3-hour training will be offered in 2 sessions of 1.5 hours each. You must attend both sessions to earn a certificate.
