This training will engage participants in a review of the Five Stages of Second Language Acquisition and focuses on three main concepts of learning: the Affective Filter, Comprehensible Input, and Receptive Language vs Expressive Language. Participants will be provided a variety of practical strategies that are designed to support the coaching of teachers, on providing equitable educational opportunities for dual language learners across the instructional day.
