Provider Support Groups are a space to talk about the challenges faced by program leaders in a safe, confidential, online setting with your peers and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. These one hour, weekly opportunities are designed for the sharing of issues, discussion of ideas and suggestions for follow-up. NO Certificate will be awarded for this informational session.

December 13, 2022Universal precautions training is required for all staff working in regulated child care programs. Early childhood professionals need to be knowledgeable about how to prevent disease transmission in the early childhood setting, including those spread through contact with blood and other potentially infectious bodily fluids. Universal precautions are measures taken in order to safely handle bodily fluids, blood, and airborne secretions to reduce the chance of infection and transmission of diseases to staff or children in child care settings.

December 13, 2022Face to Face training: Double-check the LOCATION of the session before registering!
In this two-hour Face to Face Training, participants will review key elements of the physical, social, and temporal environments that best support young children. Participants will take a deeper look at how to arrange their physical environment and will conduct an audit on their top 2 to 3 learning centers. Participants will use their knowledge to proactively plan their physical environment and refresh learning centers. This course is appropriate for early childhood educators who: (1)work with children ages birth through age five and (2)need ideas to freshen up learning centers and (3)are interested in how to use their physical environment to reduce challenging behaviors in the classroom. **To get the most out of this training, we highly recommend you come with images or a diagram of your environment.
