Protecting Children Through Active Bystanding goes beyond theoretical knowledge to teach participants practical skills to be an active bystander in child sexual abuse prevention and response. You will receive examples of boundary violations and inappropriate behaviors, and guidance on both spontaneous and planned interventions that reinforce boundaries and protect children.

Participants will gain an understanding of how to foster inclusive attitudes, practices and policies in their program, initiate and lead collaborative relationships between staff and families as well as how to identify community resources to support all needs.
