    In this session, we will dive into the components of a high-quality supportive environment, and how to ensure that our classroom is set up in a way that promotes engagement and on-task behavior. We will take the time to evaluate our environment for any “hot spots” and plan for any needed changes. We will also discuss the importance of establishing clear and consistent routines and procedures for children to understand the expectations and to promote their success. We will also learn the importance of developing nurturing and responsive relationships with each child to support their social emotional development.

    This training is presented through a partnership between SPARK Learning Lab and Lakeshore®. All attendees will receive a materials kit to use with the children in your program!

We will begin by discussing the components of a high-quality supportive environment, and how to ensure that our classroom is set up with those as the foundation. We will take the time to evaluate our classroom environment, and plan for any needed changes. We will also learn the importance of developing nurturing and responsive relationships with each child in the classroom, as a safe, secure relationships are the foundation to learning.
