Learn actionable leadership strategies to implement program-wide systems that support both professional and ethical conduct. Incorporate practices that build a collective agreement to professional conduct and allow your staff to feel included in the decision-making process of your program. This is an intermediate to advanced training and it is recommended that you complete the Maintaining Professional Boundaries Training Series prior to taking this training.

County VanderburghIn this session, we will dive into the components of a high-quality supportive environment, and how to ensure that our classroom is set up in a way that promotes engagement and on-task behavior. We will take the time to evaluate our environment for any “hot spots” and plan for any needed changes. We will also discuss the importance of establishing clear and consistent routines and procedures for children to understand the expectations and to promote their success. We will also learn the importance of developing nurturing and responsive relationships with each child to support their social emotional development.
This training is presented through a partnership between SPARK Learning Lab and Lakeshore®. All attendees will receive a materials kit to use with the children in your program!

In this session, we will dive into tier 1 and tier 2 of the Pyramid Model to gain a better understanding of how to set children up for success and how to proactively teach social emotional literacy, rather than being reactive to unwanted behaviors. We will begin by discussing the components of a high-quality supportive environment, and how to ensure that our classroom is set up with those as the foundation. We will take the time to evaluate our classroom environment, and plan for any needed changes. We will also learn the importance of developing nurturing and responsive relationships with each child in the classroom, as a safe, secure relationships are the foundation to learning.
This training is presented through a partnership between SPARK Learning Lab and Lakeshore®. All attendees will receive a materials kit to use with the children in your program!
