Employ social stories (also known as scripted stories) as a proactive and instructional strategy to reduce behaviors that challenge us in the learning environment. Learn how to individualize social stories to increase prosocial behaviors and respond to challenging behaviors in your setting.

The Growing Brain: The Basics - Understanding how children’s behavior is influenced by the brain (Part 1)

Understand basic brain anatomy, the connection between the various areas of the brain, and how these connections are expressed through behavior. Learn about the key factors that influence behavior, the root causes of challenging behavior, and effective strategies for helping children with these difficulties.
This 3-hour training will be offered in 2 sessions of 1.5 hours each. You must attend both sessions to earn a certificate.
