SPARK! Creating School-Age Environments in Family Child Care Homes (Live Virtual)

SPARK! Creating School-Age Environments in Family Child Care Homes (Live Virtual)

November 30, 2023

School-Age spaces in family child care homes are unique because they are neither home nor school. They offer an opportunity to create special crossover environments where school-age children can have their own space in a low-stress setting, explore new interests, and develop meaningful relationships with friends and staff. Just as we take time to create optimal spaces for our homes and workplaces, we need to consider how the physical environment can bring out the best in our school-age children.

*Be sure to register both here in Indiana Learning Paths as well as Zoom, so that your certificate can be processed into your I-LEAD account.
