There are many benefits to family engagement, some of them being: positive child learning outcomes, parent-child and parent-provider relationships, and a strong foundation for future and life-long involvement. Many factors contribute to getting families involved in your program such as: feeling welcome, building relationships, having open communication, providing opportunities to participate, and creating a safe place. When families feel welcome and included, they are more willing to become involved and support your program. Learn ways to get your families involved in this one-hour learning forum.
